Cannabis News This Week

CRC Possible Lawsuit Finally Pushed DEA on Cannabis Rescheduling Petition

In case you haven’t heard about something ridiculous this week well, here you go; the DEA finally ‘got back to’ the Coalition for Rescheduling Cannabis activist group saying, after a nice long nine year stretch they still don’t think that Cannabis as a drug should be reclassified. Now, I understand that EVERYTHING has to do with money and power and times are hard, agents need overtime or have to hit some kind of quota…but hasn’t nine years been enough to rethink their hmm….structure? Or are they just courteous enough to give some time to the pharmaceutical companies who can make their variation of “spice”?

Well, food for thought…

The good thing?? We can APPEAL!

Obama Administration Targets Medical Marijuana Programs

In case you thought that your quiet MMJ cured little life is safe…think again.

Remember all that pretty speech about not using federal resources to prosecute medical marijuana card holders by the Obama administration? (By the way…aren’t there enough meth/cocaine/heroin files there to investigate?) Yeah, scratch that. It happens that the Department of Justice sent out a memo to the nation’s federal prosecutors (US Attorney’s) in which Attorney General Cole gives green light to “even where those activities purport to comply with state law.”

So, no matter how compliant you are as a patient/dispensary/etc., these people (who by the way getting your tax dollars to practically choke you represent you) will still go after hard working, legit, AMERICAN people.

Steph Sherer, ASA Executive Director.;“Threatening state officials for implementing compassionate programs that 80% of the public supports is not what the President promised when he ran for office.”

Because of all this 10 people faces federal charges for Medical Marijuana in Montana.

How to make sense of this nonsense? That’s almost impossible. But, make sure you’re prepared, aware and educated about your medicine. All of it.

Father’s Day in the United States falls on the third Sunday of June-this year the 19th. We’ve been officially observing Father’s Day since 1972 to complement Mother’s Day and to cherish fatherhood and male parenting.

There are all types of fathers out there (Dexter anyone?) so if yours deserves the gift of attention and a bit more then keep on reading. Let’s make it unique, fun and don’t forget to hug!
